Línea Rotativa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Abreu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 16 minutes of play, C.A. Línea Rotativa's Astor Eguntsenti made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ronaldo de Moraes was left in no man's land by his defense there! 19 minutes into the match, C.A. Línea Rotativa's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Altamirano came free, but Anier Urtats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anier Urtats took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Galen Kvick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute Vista Alegre FC were awarded a corner. Igor Souza went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Igor Souza almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but C.A. Línea Rotativa's Anier Urtats did a great save. 26 minutes into the match, C.A. Línea Rotativa's goalkeeper Anier Urtats had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodrigo Altamirano. Anier Urtats showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Gustavo Vergílio, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Rodrigo Altamirano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Urtats having to interfere. Rodrigo Altamiranos short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Anier Urtats to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. C.A. Línea Rotativa's Anier Urtats played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Gustavo Vergílio in the 45th minute of play. Astor Eguntsenti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldo de Moraes having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodrigo Altamirano made a kick off. C.A. Línea Rotativa's Anier Urtats played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Soares in the 55th minute of play. Astor Eguntsenti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ronaldo de Moraes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Galen Kvick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Anier Urtats tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vista Alegre FC's Norberto de Azevedo was substituted for Belo Ponta. 64 minutes into the match, Vista Alegre FC's goalkeeper Ronaldo de Moraes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Abreu. C.A. Línea Rotativa made a substitution. Rolando Pasqual replaced Astor Eguntsenti. Vista Alegre FC's Ronaldo de Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Pasqual in the 71st minute of play. 75 minutes into the game, C.A. Eduardo Rodriguez's late challenge caught a Vista Alegre FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eduardo Rodriguez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 86th minute, Eduardo Rodriguez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 94 minutes, Rodrigo Altamirano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vista Alegre FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrigo Altamirano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Vista Alegre FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
