Mathias Lundgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Jonsereds IF's goal looked a bit too open when Jasper Jump came free, but Gil Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Astreix&ObelixSoccer's goal looked a bit too open when Ronny Nilsson came free, but Ian Little reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronny Nilsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Ian Little made a huge save. 29 minutes into the match, Jonsereds IF's goal looked a bit too open when Jasper Jump came free, but Gil Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gil Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jasper Jump, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gil Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jasper Jump in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 35th minute Jonsereds IF were awarded a corner. Ronny Nilsson went to the cornerflag to take it. Jonsereds IF's Ronny Nilsson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ian Little in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Edgar Lövgren kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After 43 played minutes Astreix&ObelixSoccer got a freekick which was hit by Sacha Lilley.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hans Kilstedt was the one to do the kick off. Nat Firth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Garcia having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Frank McLintock notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Jonsereds IF's Gil Garcia. Gil Garcia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Astreix&ObelixSoccer's Zheng Shi Yang was substituted for Gunnar Retov. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank McLintock in the 66th minute of play forced Jonsereds IF's goalkeeper Gil Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manuel Viñaspre scored 0-2 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gil Garcia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 70 minutes into the match, Astreix&ObelixSoccer's goal looked a bit too open when Ronny Nilsson came free, but Ian Little reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Jonsereds IF's goal looked a bit too open when Frank McLintock came free, but Gil Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Astreix&ObelixSoccer booed when Jonsereds IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rune Simonsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gil Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nat Firth in the 89th minute of the match. Ian Little came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Jonsereds IF's Hans Kilstedt. But to his dismay, Hans Kilstedt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. During the 94th minute of the match Rune Simonsson completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Rune Simonsson a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Gil Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank McLintock in the 95th minute of play. When the match was over Astreix&ObelixSoccer could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Jonsereds IF throughout the match.
