Jeremias Vedillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 30 minutes into the game, Telmo Peres cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Jeremias Vedillo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. C.A.M.P's Jeremias Vedillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdemar de Moraes in the 32nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Karl-Michael Melander managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A.M.P's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl-Michael Melander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jun Osborne in the 84th minute of play forced Papunhas EC's goalkeeper Ismael Nazario Serre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th match minute, C.A.M.P was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Macias to maneuver through the defense. Many of Papunhas EC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Papunhas EC may have spent more time on the ball, but C.A.M.P were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
