After 2 minutes, Filip Bykowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sipo EC and the CERVEZA CALIENTE players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 2nd match minute, Sipo EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filip Bykowski to maneuver through the defense. 6 minutes into the match, Sipo EC's goal looked a bit too open when Youri De Poorter came free, but Carroll Hathaway reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute of the match, Cléberson Gomes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Carroll Hathaway saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Sipo EC's Carroll Hathaway played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cléberson Gomes in the 7th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Youri De Poorter got free with Carroll Hathaway in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Oséias Gerber's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Horacio Lalla was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Carroll Hathaway didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eustacio Gora went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Youri De Poorter in the 21st minute of play forced Sipo EC's goalkeeper Carroll Hathaway to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, CERVEZA CALIENTE's Youri De Poorter dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Horacio Lalla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noel Velloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After 27 minutes, Camilo Enaut mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CERVEZA CALIENTE and the Sipo EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 27th match minute, CERVEZA CALIENTE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Enaut to maneuver through the defense. A nice corner shot did that Noel Velloso got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Horacio Lalla quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Youri De Poorter who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Carroll Hathaway when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Sipo EC's Carroll Hathaway proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Sipo EC from getting a goal against them. In the 37th minute Noel Velloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horacio Lalla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carroll Hathaway didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Youri De Poorter went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. 42 minutes into the match, Sipo EC's goal looked a bit too open when Camilo Enaut came free, but Carroll Hathaway reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carroll Hathaway stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Youri De Poorter's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Carroll Hathaway was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Youri De Poorter showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 48 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elói Ferreira made a kick off. Carroll Hathaway showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Youri De Poorter in the 54th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Sipo EC's goal looked a bit too open when Eustacio Gora came free, but Carroll Hathaway reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute, Camilo Enaut made a precise shot to the right of Carroll Hathaway. Sipo EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Filip Bykowski kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 65th minute Carlos Alberto Passos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horacio Lalla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horacio Lalla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noel Velloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Noel Vellosos short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Horacio Lalla to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Carroll Hathaway made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camilo Enaut in the 69th minute of play. After some careless play in the Sipo EC defense, Camilo Enaut kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carroll Hathaway. The Sipo EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carroll Hathaway should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Youri De Poorter in the 73rd minute of play forced Sipo EC's goalkeeper Carroll Hathaway to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sipo EC's Carroll Hathaway played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Enaut in the 78th minute of play. In the 78th minute, one of Sipo EC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sipo EC. In the 81st minute of the match CERVEZA CALIENTE got a corner. Sipo EC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bernabe Sauveur ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bernabe Sauveur made a great header on CERVEZA CALIENTE's corner, it was just that Sipo EC's Carroll Hathaway managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 84th minute, Youri De Poorter made a precise shot to the right of Carroll Hathaway. Sipo EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Sipo EC's Carroll Hathaway played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cléberson Gomes in the 88th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camilo Enaut in the 89th minute of play forced Sipo EC's goalkeeper Carroll Hathaway to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carroll Hathaway came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by CERVEZA CALIENTE's Cléberson Gomes. But to his dismay, Cléberson Gomes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0.
