Ian Emander ran back to his position shaking his head. 13 minutes into the match, BAIRES's goal looked a bit too open when Anier Eneko came free, but Anibal Cambiasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute Ian Emander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anibal Cambiasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, BAIRES's Andres Cambiasso ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pepe Le Petit. Pepe Le Petit yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 30th minute Ian Emander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anibal Cambiasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, BAIRES's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Emander came free, but Anibal Cambiasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in BAIRES's zone, Per-Erik Öberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anibal Cambiasso came out of the goal and Per-Erik Öberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. TibaDons's Per-Erik Öberg got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anibal Cambiasso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ian Emander's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Gabriel Duarte kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Pepe Le Petit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genaro Cambiasso in the 47th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Genaro Cambiasso made a kick off. TibaDons's Pepe Le Petit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genaro Cambiasso in the 53rd minute of play. Pepe Le Petit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Opilano, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Andres Cambiasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anibal Cambiasso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pierce Gerrard in the 71st minute of the match. Joaquin Cambiasso charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
