Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cengizhan Baycan got the match started through his kick off. Sebastian Xabier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cengizhan Baycan, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Sebastian Xabier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cengizhan Baycan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cengizhan Baycan in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastian Xabier saved SOUTH THUNDER from getting behind. After some careless play in the SOUTH THUNDER defense, Cengizhan Baycan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastian Xabier. The SOUTH THUNDER fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastian Xabier should have stopped the shot. In the 14th minute Cengizhan Baycan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Xabier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to SOUTH THUNDER getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Rafael Chucho hit a great ball. In the 25th minute, Rafael Chucho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cengizhan Baycan took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sebastian Xabier. Sebastian Xabier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Cengizhan Baycan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the game, Cengizhan Baycan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Sebastian Xabier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Cengizhan Baycan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, SOUTH THUNDER's Norberto Incendio got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 42nd minute of the match Dorival de Carvalho shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sebastian Xabier showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 44 played minutes Cactos got a freekick which was hit by Alberigo Palomba. The SOUTH THUNDER players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cactos were winning 0-3.

SOUTH THUNDER's Germán Pezzella was substituted for Godfredo Salomone. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeronimo Errapel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Cengizhan Baycan fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Sebastian Xabier, passed just outside the right post. Cactos made a substitution. Luisinho Maciel replaced Cengizhan Baycan. SOUTH THUNDER's Sebastian Xabier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisinho Maciel in the 60th minute of play. Luisinho Maciel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastian Xabier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Ademir Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Sebastian Xabier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 68 minutes of play, Cactos's Luisinho Maciel made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sebastian Xabier was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luisinho Maciel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the game, Cactos's Luisinho Maciel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sebastian Xabier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Bran Allison made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeronimo Errapel in the 78th minute of play. Sebastian Xabier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisinho Maciel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Luisinho Maciel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luisinho Maciel in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastian Xabier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cactos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Matias Gaitan in the 85th minute. After taking down the ball on Cactos's corner Matias Gaitan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sebastian Xabier quite easily take care of the ball. After 86 minutes of play, Cactos's Luisinho Maciel made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sebastian Xabier was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Cactos booed when SOUTH THUNDER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeronimo Errapel didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Luisinho Maciel took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Sebastian Xabier to make any attempt to save it. The Cactos supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cactos would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
