In the 7th minute, Tor Olofsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kevin Kivaste was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 10 minutes into the game, Tor Olofsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Kevin Kivaste was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Drunken Sea Monkeys booed when Mansfield Town FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl Hedvall didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Tor Olofsson sped through Drunken Sea Monkeys's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kevin Kivaste. Andreas Sandell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Kivaste having to interfere. When Andreas Sandell came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Mansfield Town FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andreas Sandell couldn't finish the play. If Andreas Sandell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kevin Kivaste made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tor Olofsson in the 31st minute of play. After 32nd play minutes Tor Olofsson shot 7-0, a short shot which went by Kevin Kivaste and just under the crossbar into goal. Kevin Kivaste made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Andreas Sandell sent off a good shot on target. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Andreas Sandell sped through Drunken Sea Monkeys's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kevin Kivaste. After 41 minutes, Tor Olofsson made it 9-0 with a short kick to the right side. Drunken Sea Monkeys's Kevin Kivaste tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Drunken Sea Monkeys's goalkeeper Kevin Kivaste, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Mansfield Town FC's Tor Olofsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kevin Kivaste. That made the score 10-0 after 46 minutes of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 10-0.

The wind increased when Lennart Saare made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Tor Olofsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kevin Kivaste. Drunken Sea Monkeys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tor Olofsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tor Olofsson in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kevin Kivaste prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Andreas Sandell scored 13-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kevin Kivaste, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tor Olofsson in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kevin Kivaste saved Drunken Sea Monkeys from getting behind. After 66 minutes, Tor Olofsson made it 14-0 with a short kick to the right side. Drunken Sea Monkeys's Kevin Kivaste tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Kevin Kivaste showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andreas Sandell, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Mansfield Town FC made a substitution. Michael Gudmundsson replaced Tor Olofsson. Mansfield Town FC's Martin Wennerquist was substituted for Ingvar Häger. Sven Hybbert hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 16-0 when Michael Gudmundsson sped through Drunken Sea Monkeys's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kevin Kivaste. When Maximilian Seger came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Mansfield Town FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximilian Seger couldn't finish the play. In the 85th minute Andreas Sandell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevin Kivaste saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute, Michael Gudmundsson made a precise shot to the right of Kevin Kivaste. Drunken Sea Monkeys's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 17-0. Drunken Sea Monkeys's Kevin Kivaste played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Sandell in the 93rd minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Drunken Sea Monkeys's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Sandell came free, but Kevin Kivaste reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Drunken Sea Monkeys defense, Michael Gudmundsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kevin Kivaste. The Drunken Sea Monkeys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kevin Kivaste should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mansfield Town FC fully deserved thier win.
