In the 42nd minute, Jonas Herz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zelg FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After a rather tough play, Santos City's Aílton de Barros got a free kick in the 46th minute. The Santos City players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Zelg FC were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonas Herz to make the kick off. After 60 played minutes Santos City got a freekick which was hit by Aílton de Barros. Gilles Clerc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Aurken having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Jonas Herz fired away a hard free kick towards the goal. Rogelio Aurken moved to his left, but didn't have to make a save as the ball went out of bounds. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonas Herz in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rogelio Aurken prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonas Herz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 93rd minute Sidney Albuquerque shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sepp Mainville saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Zelg FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Stephan Eichenberger hit a great ball. Sepp Mainville stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sidney Albuquerque's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. The Zelg FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Santos City from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
