Toninho Bertassi came out of the goal and Gaspar Pomelov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 9 minutes of play, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Gaspar Pomelov made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Toninho Bertassi was left in no man's land by his defense there! 14 minutes into the game, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Gaspar Pomelov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Toninho Bertassi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. A sloppy throw-in by Agnaldo Massa in the 17th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Camilo Azubeli. A collision led to Deportivo Pomelo Nenene getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. J.P. Drugi hit a great ball. Cacá Pinheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Gaspar Pomelov kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Toninho Bertassi. That made the score 3-0 in the 29 minute of play. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pindorama's goalkeeper Toninho Bertassi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Gaspar Pomelov sped through Pindorama's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Toninho Bertassi. Toninho Bertassi made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Arturo Lopez sent off a good shot on target. 38 minutes into the game, Agnaldo Massa threw the ball into play from the sideline. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Camilo Azubeli quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Camilo Azubeli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A sloppy throw-in by Agnaldo Massa in the 42nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Camilo Azubeli. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's attentive Camilo Azubeli managed to snatch the ball when Agnaldo Massa made a throw-in in the 45th minute of the game. In the 47th minute, Gaspar Pomelov made a precise shot to the right of Toninho Bertassi. Pindorama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cacá Pinheiro to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Gaspar Pomelov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Toninho Bertassi. Pindorama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gaspar Pomelov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. The throw-in from Agnaldo Massa in the 57th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Camilo Azubeli. Toninho Bertassi came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Gaspar Pomelov. But to his dismay, Gaspar Pomelov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. 64 minutes into the game, Agnaldo Massa threw the ball into play from the sideline. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Camilo Azubeli quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Gaspar Pomelov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Toninho Bertassi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Agnaldo Massa made in the 66th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Camilo Azubeli. When Gaspar Pomelov came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Deportivo Pomelo Nenene fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaspar Pomelov couldn't finish the play. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Camilo Azubeli managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Genílson Marques in the 73 minute of the game. When Renan Pontes came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Pindorama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Renan Pontes couldn't finish the play. The throw-in from Agnaldo Massa in the 84th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Camilo Azubeli. After 84 played minutes Pindorama got a freekick which was hit by Gugu Recife. In the 85th minute, Gaspar Pomelov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Toninho Bertassi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspar Pomelov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Toninho Bertassi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Pomelov, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Gaspar Pomelov scored 8-0 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Toninho Bertassi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Lopez in the 95th minute of play forced Pindorama's goalkeeper Toninho Bertassi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toninho Bertassi came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Arturo Lopez. But to his dismay, Arturo Lopez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
