An unexpectedly hard shot by Tran Vrolijcx in the 18th minute of play forced FC Lëtzebuerg's goalkeeper David Bismarck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Serdar Gulson managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Lëtzebuerg's supporters rose to their feet, but Serdar Gulson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kamiel Ingelborgh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomás Baldaia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, Seyidäli Cāburgs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tran Vrolijcx stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ad Fundum's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. A collision led to FC Lëtzebuerg getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Dudin Suartama hit a great ball. David Bismarck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurel Cornea in the 63rd minute of the match. After 69 minutes, Erubiel Erasto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Lëtzebuerg and the Ad Fundum players grew even worse after the yellow card. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Tomás Baldaia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Bismarck. After 92 minutes Ad Fundum's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Severo Damario who took care of the corner kick. The corner led FC Lëtzebuerg's Severo Damario to fire away a dangerous shot which Kamiel Ingelborgh despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Tran Vrolijcx scored 1-5 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Bismarck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The FC Lëtzebuerg supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ad Fundum's performance. The match ended with a win for Ad Fundum.
