Thiago Gol might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tord Forsberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thiago Gol ran back to his position shaking his head. 4 minutes into the match, Huaröd's goalkeeper Tord Forsberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thiago Gol. If Thiago Gol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luka Ramos's late challenge caught a Huaröd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luka Ramos helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to SCs StarS getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Luka Ramos hit a great ball. After 24 played minutes Huaröd got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Strömbom. Tord Forsberg was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Thiago Gol capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Thiago Gol really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 30th match minute, SCs StarS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 罗松棋 to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute of the match Thor Smitt shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Petr Čech showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Petr Čech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joar Valrot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thiago Gol in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tord Forsberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 46th minute Thor Smitt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petr Čech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Thiago Gol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 53 minutes into the match, Huaröd's goal looked a bit too open when Thiago Gol came free, but Tord Forsberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Sten Hurtig in the 55th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by SCs StarS's Co Scholten. Thiago Gol scored 3-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tord Forsberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tord Forsberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jordy Dirks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the match, SCs StarS's goalkeeper Petr Čech had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joar Valrot. After some careless play in the SCs StarS defense, Algot Brandin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Petr Čech. The SCs StarS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Petr Čech should have stopped the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 69 minutes, Petr Čech successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 71 played minutes SCs StarS got a freekick which was hit by Luka Ramos. After 72 minutes of play, Huaröd's Sture Brogren made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Petr Čech was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Thiago Gol in the 75th minute of play forced Huaröd's goalkeeper Tord Forsberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thiago Gol in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tord Forsberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 78th minute Jordy Dirks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tord Forsberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Huaröd's Henning Lindmark was substituted for Sten Hurtig. In the 81st minute of the match SCs StarS got a corner. Huaröd's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Florian Hekman ran over to the corner to take the kick. A very nice done corner allowed Thiago Gol to score against Tord Forsberg in Huaröd's goal. 4-2 after 81 minutes. SCs StarS made a substitution. Kelvin Dekkers replaced Luka Ramos. The audience was convinced that Thiago Gol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tord Forsberg was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. SCs StarS's Petr Čech proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save SCs StarS from getting a goal against them. Jordy Dirks's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tord Forsberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Tord Forsberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wlodzimierz Kochanowski in the 92nd minute of play. Thiago Gol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Tord Forsberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SCs StarS fans cheered their team off the field, for while Huaröd had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
