The audience thought a goal was coming when Zülfü Sungur got free with Ernesto Ceccarelli in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Esmeralda AFC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Di Yong Yu hit a great ball. With a little luck, CalmaDitto F.C's Ernesto Ceccarelli got control of the ball when Zülfü Sungur tried to sneak it across the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, César Pinuer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CalmaDitto F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Esmeralda AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, CalmaDitto F.C's César Pinuer got a free kick in the 17th minute. After 22 minutes of play, Esmeralda AFC's David Banegas made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ernesto Ceccarelli was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ernesto Ceccarelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zülfü Sungur in the 24th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute Di Yong Yu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Ceccarelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, CalmaDitto F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Zülfü Sungur came free, but Ernesto Ceccarelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute Eloy Calvino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Ceccarelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, CalmaDitto F.C's goalkeeper Ernesto Ceccarelli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Banegas. With a little luck, CalmaDitto F.C's Ernesto Ceccarelli got control of the ball when David Banegas tried to sneak it across the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Esmeralda AFC's Andrew Dalli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ernesto Ceccarelli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Andrew Dalli made the kick off in the second half. Juan Miguel Otazo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Jorge Armani made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eloy Calvino in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernesto Ceccarelli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zülfü Sungur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Ceccarelli having to interfere. Ernesto Ceccarelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrew Dalli in the 55th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dionisio Espejo in the 56th minute of play forced Esmeralda AFC's goalkeeper Jorge Armani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gabriel Valverde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, Dionisio Espejo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Di Yong Yu's late challenge caught a CalmaDitto F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Di Yong Yu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Esmeralda AFC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Di Yong Yu hit a great ball. Di Yong Yu kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. CalmaDitto F.C's Ernesto Ceccarelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Banegas in the 67th minute of play. Gabriel Valverde hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Ernesto Ceccarelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zülfü Sungur in the 70th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the game, Eloy Calvino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Ernesto Ceccarelli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ernesto Ceccarelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloy Calvino in the 75th minute of the match. Zülfü Sungur might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ernesto Ceccarelli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zülfü Sungur ran back to his position shaking his head. Ernesto Ceccarelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicasio Fonda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernesto Ceccarelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicasio Fonda in the 91st minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Nicasio Fonda put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ernesto Ceccarelli. When the referee ended the match the Esmeralda AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
