Luiz Fabiano Mello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luai Al Motaire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yaseen Al Ateqi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fabiano Mello having to interfere. Motlaq Al Zamel kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Leoiar Liebana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Diniz in the 10th minute of the match. Luís Fabiano Freire in the 10thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Leoiar Liebana, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With an all-out effort, FLA MQ BRASIL's Leoiar Liebana threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from José Pedro Carvalho, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Pedro Carvalho during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FLA MQ BRASIL's José Pedro Carvalho got a free kick in the 18th minute. Leoiar Liebana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Pedro Carvalho in the 22nd minute of the match. After 24 played minutes Al Hilal Saudi got a freekick which was hit by Luai Al Motaire. With a little luck, Al Hilal Saudi's Leoiar Liebana got control of the ball when Isaltino Senna tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Al Hilal Saudi getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Sarhan Al Mulaifi hit a great ball. Luiz Fabiano Mello didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luai Al Motaire went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After having played for 39 minutes, Yaseen Al Ateqi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Al Hilal Saudi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yaseen Al Ateqi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luai Al Motaire fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fabiano Mello having to interfere. Marcelinho Perez's late challenge caught a Al Hilal Saudi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcelinho Perez helped the player get up and apologised. After 44 played minutes FLA MQ BRASIL got a freekick which was hit by Marcelinho Perez. 45 minutes into the match, FLA MQ BRASIL's goal looked a bit too open when Yaseen Al Ateqi came free, but Luiz Fabiano Mello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Fabiano Mello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yaseen Al Ateqi, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The Al Hilal Saudi fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when Al Hilal Saudi's Yaseen Al Ateqi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís Fabiano Freire made a kick off. If Luai Al Motaire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Al Hilal Saudi's Luiz Fabiano Mello threw himself towards the right post 62 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sarhan Al Mulaifi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 64 minutes FLA MQ BRASIL's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zaher Al Holey who took care of the corner kick. Al Hilal Saudi's Zaher Al Holey was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Luiz Fabiano Mello in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Luai Al Motaire was extremely unlucky when he, in the 68th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Luai Al Motaire's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Luiz Fabiano Mello firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Luai Al Motaire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. José Pedro Carvalho scored 1-3 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leoiar Liebana, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Yaseen Al Ateqi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 88 minutes of play, Al Hilal Saudi's Yaseen Al Ateqi made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luiz Fabiano Mello was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 91st play minute Motlaq Al Zamel came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Luiz Fabiano Mello. 1-5. Al Hilal Saudi's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
