After 15 played minutes Club Atlético Temperley got a freekick which was hit by Basri Tanyeli. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristiano Correia got free with Raimundo Obano in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. LA InDuStRiA INC made a substitution. Benigno Gaxan replaced Isidro Orlin. In a very dangerous position, a player in LA InDuStRiA INC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 19th minute. Penalty! An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Correia in the 28th minute of play forced LA InDuStRiA INC's goalkeeper Raimundo Obano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes in the game Hector Fernandez did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Orlando Cordarell. In the 32nd minute, Celso Bartoli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, LA InDuStRiA INC's Raimundo Obano got control of the ball when Cristiano Correia tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rolando Lopez got free with Raimundo Obano in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 40th minute of the game Hector Fernandez made a throw-in which Orlando Cordarell played forward. The audience was convinced that Cristiano Correia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raimundo Obano was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Leoncio in the 45th minute of play forced Club Atlético Temperley's goalkeeper Sebestyén Mészáros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Raimundo Obano managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Club Atlético Temperley's Cristiano Correia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristiano Correia to make the kick off. Raimundo Obano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rolando Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Cristiano Correia came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Club Atlético Temperley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristiano Correia couldn't finish the play. LA InDuStRiA INC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
