Jeroen Maenhout's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sten Lundgren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. The supporters of Avelgem ad. Schelde booed when Rinkeby Torg BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Siedlecki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferdinand Fabry recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jeroen Maenhout received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Sten Lundgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rinkeby Torg BK's Sten Lundgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinand Fabry in the 16th minute of play. With a little luck, Rinkeby Torg BK's Sten Lundgren got control of the ball when Jeroen Maenhout tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Jeroen Maenhout took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Sten Lundgren to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Rinkeby Torg BK booed when Avelgem ad. Schelde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeroen Maenhout didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Feliks Nieruchliwy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rinkeby Torg BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Feliks Nieruchliwy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niek Molhoek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guido Kupke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Niek Molhoek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ferdinand Fabry took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sten Lundgren. Sten Lundgren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. 46 minutes into the match, Avelgem ad. Schelde's Jeroen Maenhout sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sten Lundgren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ferdinand Fabry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Sten Lundgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Everardo Erroman made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Avelgem ad. Schelde's Jeroen Maenhout got a free kick in the 57th minute. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Jeroen Maenhout put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Sten Lundgren. A collision led to Avelgem ad. Schelde getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Olimpiu Capisizu hit a great ball. In the 67th match minute, Rinkeby Torg BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 孟军杰 to maneuver through the defense. After 69 minutes Rinkeby Torg BK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tim-Jan Rosbach who took care of the corner kick. Henri-Xavier Lenaerts was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Ferdinand Fabry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sten Lundgren having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guido Kupke got free with Niek Molhoek in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 79th minute of the match, Feliks Nieruchliwy tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Niek Molhoek saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ferdinand Fabry took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sten Lundgren. Sten Lundgren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. After a defensive mix-up in Rinkeby Torg BK's zone, Jeroen Maenhout stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sten Lundgren came out of the goal and Jeroen Maenhout tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 91 played minutes Rinkeby Torg BK got a freekick which was hit by Esbjörn Arenberg. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeroen Maenhout in the 92nd minute of play forced Rinkeby Torg BK's goalkeeper Sten Lundgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 94 played minutes Rinkeby Torg BK got a freekick which was hit by Feliks Nieruchliwy. For all the effort they put into the match, the Rinkeby Torg BK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Avelgem ad. Schelde.
