Capivara FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valdomiro Luz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 24 minutes into the game, Zico Maravilha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Péter Pálffy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Misericordia EC's Paulo Leão got control of the ball when Neycho Mudrov tried to sneak it across the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Capivara FC's goal looked a bit too open when Valdomiro Luz came free, but Péter Pálffy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
