With a couple of smart ball manuevers Svend Betz in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Leão saved Misericordia EC from getting behind. Ye Wei made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sergio-Roberto Dinamite in the 12th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Svend Betz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Paulo Leão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ye Wei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdomiro Luz in the 17th minute of play. Valdomiro Luz kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Karl-Åke Kvist struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Paulo Leão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FSX UNITED. Paulo Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Svend Betz in the 26th minute of the match. If Svend Betz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute Svend Betz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Leão came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by FSX UNITED's Svend Betz. But to his dismay, Svend Betz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Paulo Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Svend Betz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, FSX UNITED's Ye Wei got control of the ball when Valdomiro Luz tried to sneak it across the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Svend Betz notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Misericordia EC's Paulo Leão. Paulo Leão was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 46 minutes into the match, Misericordia EC's goal looked a bit too open when Svend Betz came free, but Paulo Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 48 minutes Misericordia EC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Karl-Åke Kvist who took care of the corner kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Evelio Matetich got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-5. 48 minutes into the match. After the first half FSX UNITED were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valdomiro Luz to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, FSX UNITED's Svend Betz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulo Leão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FSX UNITED's Amancio Baesler was substituted for Svend Betz. FSX UNITED made a substitution. Thomas Cochrane replaced Evelio Matetich. A hard shot 62 in the game by Amancio Baesler from a close distance when the talented Paulo Leão managed to make a qualified save. Misericordia EC's players were relieved. Misericordia EC's Paulo Leão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Misericordia EC from getting a goal against them. Amancio Baesler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Paulo Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Salas in the 70th minute of the match. The supporters of Misericordia EC booed when FSX UNITED was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Víctor Javier Ebensperger didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute Karl-Åke Kvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Leão made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Thomas Cochrane sent off a good shot on target. Ye Wei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulinho Palmeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Marcelo Salas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl-Åke Kvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulo Leão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Paulo Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Salas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amancio Baesler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Paulo Leão made a huge save. Amancio Baesler's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 92ndth minute, Paulo Leão skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 94th match minute, FSX UNITED was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Víctor Javier Ebensperger to maneuver through the defense. Misericordia EC's Paulo Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Salas in the 97th minute of play. The Misericordia EC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FSX UNITED's performance. The match ended with a win for FSX UNITED.
