From a short distance, Lillhärdal BF's Tord Kämpe, in the 9th minute, tried to place the ball behind Vasile Arosculesei, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. Vasile Arosculesei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filippos Stathopoulos in the 12th minute of play. Notts County BR's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Filippos Stathopoulos scored to the left of an out of position Vasile Arosculesei, making the score, 1-0. Notts County BR's Vasile Arosculesei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filippos Stathopoulos in the 17th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Filippos Stathopoulos took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Vasile Arosculesei to make any attempt to save it. 28 minutes into the match, Lillhärdal BF's Filippos Stathopoulos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vasile Arosculesei narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 34th play minute Filippos Stathopoulos came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Vasile Arosculesei. 3-0. The Lillhärdal BF fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Lillhärdal BF's Tord Kämpe looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Vasile Arosculesei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filippos Stathopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 46th minute, Gustav Sillén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rafinha Brodel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tord Kämpe was the one to do the kick off. Váldson Paulista hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Vasile Arosculesei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filippos Stathopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. If Váldson Paulista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Iacob Ilinca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lillhärdal BF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
