In the 3rd match minute, Oiteiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amílton Pereira to maneuver through the defense. Emerson Salles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joshua Sammut Castelletti in the 4th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joshua Sammut Castelletti in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emerson Salles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Joshua Sammut Castelletti put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Emerson Salles. Geralt Rivilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Emerson Salles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th match minute, Oiteiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silas Magalhães to maneuver through the defense. Emerson Salles came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Pepsi's Joshua Sammut Castelletti. But to his dismay, Joshua Sammut Castelletti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Börje Örtendahl struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Paul Holmstedt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oiteiras. Emerson Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joshua Sammut Castelletti, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Börje Örtendahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Paul Holmstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Kurt Lundin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emerson Salles was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 33 minutes into the game, FC Pepsi's Kurt Lundin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emerson Salles made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Cássio Rocks kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Joshua Sammut Castelletti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Narciso Tinoco's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Paul Holmstedt firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 38 minutes FC Pepsi's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Narciso Tinoco who took care of the corner kick. After 40 played minutes Oiteiras got a freekick which was hit by Silas Magalhães. After 41st play minutes Joshua Sammut Castelletti shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Emerson Salles and just under the crossbar into goal. The Oiteiras players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Pepsi were winning 0-6.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Börje Örtendahl to make the kick off. Geralt Rivilla hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 55 minutes into the match, Oiteiras's goal looked a bit too open when Joshua Sammut Castelletti came free, but Emerson Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Pepsi's Paul Holmstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Börje Örtendahl in the 57th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Joshua Sammut Castelletti managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Pepsi's supporters rose to their feet, but Joshua Sammut Castelletti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emerson Salles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oiteiras's César Cabral was substituted for Silas Magalhães. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Pepsi's Joshua Sammut Castelletti slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Emerson Salles. That made the score 0-7 after 68 minutes of play. Oiteiras's Maurício Bezerra was substituted for Cássio Rocks. After 75 minutes Oiteiras's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cao Rong Jian who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Oiteiras's goalie and right to Kurt Lundin. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Oiteiras's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. A collision led to Oiteiras getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Amílton Pereira hit a great ball. With his leg Emerson Salles managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when FC Pepsi's Joshua Sammut Castelletti fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Narciso Tinoco in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paul Holmstedt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emerson Salles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bo Baand went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. Paul Holmstedt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Agnaldo Pontes's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. A collision led to FC Pepsi getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Alf Klint hit a great ball. Paul Holmstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agnaldo Pontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over FC Pepsi could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Oiteiras throughout the match.
