But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florencio Ferran couldn't finish the play. Saul Nesto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florencio Ferran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florencio Ferran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saul Nesto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josué Vargas, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. With a little luck, Húsares's Fabio Quintyn got control of the ball when Inocencio Lizardi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Fabio Quintyn successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gep FC were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Húsares's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Inocencio Lizardi took the corner. After taking down the ball on Gep FC's corner Inocencio Lizardi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fabio Quintyn quite easily take care of the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Húsares's goalkeeper Fabio Quintyn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Inocencio Lizardi. In the 36th minute Florencio Ferran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saul Nesto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gep FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ubaldo Kismi was slow to take the kick. During this time Húsares's players had a chance to rest. Josué Vargas made a great header on Húsares's corner, it was just that Gep FC's Saul Nesto managed to reach the ball for a save. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Florencio Ferran to make the kick off. Gep FC's Saul Nesto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maksymilian Wydrych in the 57th minute of play. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gep FC's goalkeeper Saul Nesto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fabio Quintyn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inocencio Lizardi, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Ali Yılmaz sped through Húsares's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fabio Quintyn. Húsares's Teobaldo Ibon was substituted for Florencio Ferran. Teobaldo Ibon struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Saul Nesto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Húsares. Húsares made a substitution. Fiz Sacristán replaced Josué Vargas. Fabio Quintyn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 87th minute Inocencio Lizardi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Quintyn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute of the game Elvio Louis made a throw-in which Marcos Fidencio played forward. Saul Nesto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teobaldo Ibon in the 92nd minute. With splendid footwork Teobaldo Ibon arrived in front of goal to shoot 3-1 by the left pole in the game's 93rd minute.
