The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes alvarado got a freekick which was hit by William Garsby. Elco Das fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Guerrero having to interfere. When Elco Das came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Gremengo FCCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elco Das couldn't finish the play. Teofilo Oskitz came free with the goalkeeper in the 15th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Edinho Neto could save by the left post. alvarado's Epifanio Guerrero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Perttu Bado in the 23rd minute of play. Epifanio Guerrero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Perttu Bado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Epifanio Guerrero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elco Das, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Esteban Đido had several of the Gremengo FCCMZ's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 32 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Edinho Neto as he didn't even see the shot coming. Epifanio Guerrero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elco Das in the 37th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the game, one of Gremengo FCCMZ:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 42 minutes, alvarado's Esteban Đido got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Edinho Neto. 48 minutes into the match, Elco Das had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Epifanio Guerrero. alvarado's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elco Das was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Esteban Đido was the one to do the kick off. Vinícius de Brito's late challenge caught a alvarado's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vinícius de Brito helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of alvarado booed when Gremengo FCCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinícius de Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. William Garsby kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Diego Armando Messi's shot from long distance in the 58th minute was not bad at all, but alvarado's Epifanio Guerrero knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Efraim Morais could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Epifanio Guerrero made a huge save. 68 minutes into the match, Gremengo FCCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Esteban Đido came free, but Edinho Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Perttu Bado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. After a defensive mix-up in alvarado's zone, Efraim Morais stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Epifanio Guerrero came out of the goal and Efraim Morais tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 85 minutes into the match, alvarado's goal looked a bit too open when Efraim Morais came free, but Epifanio Guerrero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elco Das received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Epifanio Guerrero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. alvarado's Abel Bordat was substituted for Teofilo Oskitz. alvarado's Berk Tümerk was substituted for Esteban Đido. Gremengo FCCMZ's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
