Felix Logofătu's late challenge caught a Black Dragons's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Logofătu helped the player get up and apologised. Grigore Rânceanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from I Putu í Lon Jacobsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grigore Rânceanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from I Putu í Lon Jacobsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gigel Boeru in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armin Bilodeau prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee felt a red card was in order, 39 minutes into the game, when Panait Basarabescu put in a rough tackle. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Granicerul! Grigore Rânceanu had in the 41stth minute some difficulties stopping Raffaelo Anderegg's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Grigore Rânceanu came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Black Dragons's Raffaelo Anderegg. But to his dismay, Raffaelo Anderegg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gigel Boeru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute I Putu í Lon Jacobsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grigore Rânceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gigel Boeru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gigel Boeru might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armin Bilodeau. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gigel Boeru ran back to his position shaking his head. The Granicerul fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when Granicerul's Gigel Boeru looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Laurențiu Ciocâltea kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Laurențiu Ciocâltea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 64 minutes into the match, Black Dragons's goal looked a bit too open when Remus Pinczewski came free, but Armin Bilodeau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Black Dragons made a substitution. Sander Buckinx replaced Rico Roy. Granicerul's Grigore Rânceanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waud Soetemans in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Ciprian Găman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Remus Pinczewski in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armin Bilodeau saved Black Dragons from getting behind. The Granicerul fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Granicerul's Remus Pinczewski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the Granicerul defense, Bodo Rodel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Grigore Rânceanu. The Granicerul fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Grigore Rânceanu should have stopped the shot. Armin Bilodeau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remus Pinczewski in the 91st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Black Dragons's Cyrill Graf got a free kick in the 92nd minute. When Granicerul's Remus Pinczewski in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Black Dragons's goalie prevented a goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Black Dragons players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Granicerul.
