If Benjamin de Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Grigore Rânceanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edu Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as ATLÉTICO PAULISTA - CIMZ's Edu Carvalho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Grigore Rânceanu. That made the score 2-0 after 31 minutes of play. Edu Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edu Carvalho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Grigore Rânceanu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. ATLÉTICO PAULISTA - CIMZ's Asaf Durcan managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sydney Pombal in the 40 minute of the game. Aad Kena hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After 47 played minutes ATLÉTICO PAULISTA - CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Elói Lendaa. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Felix Logofătu made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stamatis Seletopoulos in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Grigore Rânceanu saved Granicerul from getting behind. 55 minutes into the match, Edu Carvalho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Grigore Rânceanu. Granicerul's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edu Carvalho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 64 minutes into the game, Dan Spãtaru threw the ball into play from the sideline. ATLÉTICO PAULISTA - CIMZ's Asaf Durcan quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Edu Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. The supporters of ATLÉTICO PAULISTA - CIMZ booed when Granicerul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Panait Basarabescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82ndth minute of the game Edu Carvalho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Granicerul's Grigore Rânceanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Grigore Rânceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edu Carvalho in the 84th minute of play. Grigore Rânceanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edu Carvalho in the 85th minute of the match. Edu Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89th minute, Edu Carvalho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Grigore Rânceanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. When Edu Carvalho came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the ATLÉTICO PAULISTA - CIMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edu Carvalho couldn't finish the play.
