Real Mente Burro's Zé Paulo de Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Germán Bersabe in the 9th minute of play. Koppány Török stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of George Apelqvist's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Bálint Fejes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Zé Paulo de Castro made a huge save. Zé Paulo de Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tibor Székely, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zé Paulo de Castro came out and tried to block the shot, but Bálint Fejes slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 36th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Berkshire Harthaway FC.'s Tibor Székely slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zé Paulo de Castro. That made the score 2-2 after 45 minutes of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 96th minute George Apelqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Koppány Török saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Real Mente Burro could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Berkshire Harthaway FC. throughout the match.
