When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Isaias Matas put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bernard Chuchro. Bernard Chuchro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaias Matas, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Isaias Matas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Bernard Chuchro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Olavarria FC booed when Blitzkrieg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Vasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernard Chuchro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaias Matas in the 16th minute of the match. Edgard Vasco made in the 20th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ismael Lore. The audience was convinced that Isaias Matas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernard Chuchro was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Isaias Matas in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Isaias Matas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 39th match minute, Blitzkrieg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustin Mosen to maneuver through the defense. Bernard Chuchro made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Isaias Matas sent off a good shot on target. In the 41st minute of the match Olavarria FC got a corner. Blitzkrieg's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mauro Kotlar ran over to the corner to take the kick. Igor Acevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute, Olavarria FC's Isaias Matas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bernard Chuchro. Bernard Chuchro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isaias Matas was the one to do the kick off. Bernard Chuchro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Catalino Rivarola in the 55th minute of play. A collision led to Blitzkrieg getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Hector Rudolfo hit a great ball. In the 65th minute Isaias Matas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernard Chuchro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute Olavarria FC were awarded a corner. Mauro Kotlar went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Catalino Rivarola almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Blitzkrieg's Bernard Chuchro did a great save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isaias Matas in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernard Chuchro saved Blitzkrieg from getting behind. In the 71st minute, Isaias Matas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olavarria FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Olavarria FC made a substitution. Ervigio Ojeda replaced Isaias Matas. In the 78th minute, Robby Van Steen made a precise shot to the right of Bernard Chuchro. Blitzkrieg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Ervigio Ojeda struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Bernard Chuchro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olavarria FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florentino Sidro in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michel Hendrickx prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 89 minutes into the match, Blitzkrieg's goal looked a bit too open when Ervigio Ojeda came free, but Bernard Chuchro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernard Chuchro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ervigio Ojeda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the match, Ervigio Ojeda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernard Chuchro. Blitzkrieg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ervigio Ojeda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0.
