In the 12th minute of the game 周斐俊 made a throw-in which Leszek Cupial played forward. Kim Bolas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Fernando Prassov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernando Prassov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kim Bolas in the 24th minute of play. Fernando Prassov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kim Bolas, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Kim Bolas scored 0-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernando Prassov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mike Axisa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christian Vieri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sliema Dragons FC's goalkeeper Mike Axisa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fernando Prassov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kim Bolas in the 58th minute of the match. Fernando Prassov made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Kim Bolas sent off a good shot on target. Christian Vieri scored 2-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mike Axisa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kim Bolas couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dejan Cassar in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Prassov saved Green Hell F.C. from getting behind. 72 minutes into the match, Sliema Dragons FC's Dejan Cassar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fernando Prassov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 72nd minute, Sliema Dragons FC's Dejan Cassar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fernando Prassov. Fernando Prassov yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Sliema Dragons FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dejan Cassar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sliema Dragons FC's zone, Radomil Ogrodowicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mike Axisa came out of the goal and Radomil Ogrodowicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alberigo Balzani kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Fernando Prassov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dejan Cassar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the game, Sliema Dragons FC's Dejan Cassar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fernando Prassov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. The Green Hell F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sliema Dragons FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Sliema Dragons FC.
