Loreto Palanques didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andries De Putter went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. If Andries De Putter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Loreto Palanques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andries De Putter in the 13th minute of play. After some careless play in the AlmaToran defense, Andries De Putter kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Loreto Palanques. The AlmaToran fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Loreto Palanques should have stopped the shot. Loreto Palanques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andries De Putter, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Loreto Palanques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andries De Putter in the 21st minute of the match. Andries De Putter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Loreto Palanques having to make a save. AlmaToran's Loreto Palanques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andries De Putter in the 23rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Peli Briñas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lei Bin. That made the score 1-3 in the 26 minute of play. Andries De Putter took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Loreto Palanques. Loreto Palanques dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Loreto Palanques stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andries De Putter's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. The corner ended in Jordi Scherz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AlmaToran's Loreto Palanques did a great save. Loreto Palanques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andries De Putter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the game, Andries De Putter cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-7. Loreto Palanques was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The wind increased when Andries De Putter made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Andries De Putter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loreto Palanques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andries De Putter might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Loreto Palanques. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andries De Putter ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 54th minute Andries De Putter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loreto Palanques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AFC United were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after AlmaToran's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jordi Scherz took the corner. The corner led AFC United's Andries De Putter to fire away a dangerous shot which Loreto Palanques despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Andries De Putter took a quick shot and it went in 1-8 without a chance for Loreto Palanques to make any attempt to save it. Andries De Putter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Loreto Palanques read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Andries De Putter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Loreto Palanques made a huge save. In the 68th minute, Andries De Putter ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Loreto Palanques was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-9. AFC United made a substitution. Bilintx Trilla replaced Şenel Volkan. AFC United's Faustino Asprilla was substituted for Andries De Putter. The AFC United fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when AFC United's Faustino Asprilla looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-10 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Faustino Asprilla took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Loreto Palanques. Loreto Palanques dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-11. AlmaToran's Sol Aries was substituted for Feliciano Contera. 82 minutes into the match, Faustino Asprilla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Loreto Palanques. AlmaToran's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Faustino Asprilla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-12. Loreto Palanques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustino Asprilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. With a little luck, AlmaToran's Loreto Palanques got control of the ball when Faustino Asprilla tried to sneak it across the goal line. 96 minutes into the game, Faustino Asprilla recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Loreto Palanques. Faustino Asprilla showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-14. When the final whistle sounded AFC United left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than AlmaToran.
