Augusto Cordario really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 8th minute Konrad Gotfryd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erwin Huygens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Augusto Cordario's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ignacy Hajduk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. After 13 minutes CF Apaches's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Filomeno Montrell who took care of the corner kick. Filomeno Montrell made a great header on Velez Sarsfield's corner, it was just that CF Apaches's Ignacy Hajduk managed to reach the ball for a save. Velez Sarsfield's Erwin Huygens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogdan Kosakowski in the 16th minute of play. In the 31st match minute, CF Apaches was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emílio Clérigo to maneuver through the defense. Velez Sarsfield were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after CF Apaches's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Filomeno Montrell took the corner. Bogdan Kosakowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Erwin Huygens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind CF Apaches's goalkeeper Ignacy Hajduk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 43 minutes in the game Milosz Dzierwa did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ritchie Granville. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Augusto Cordario stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Augusto Cordario's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ignacy Hajduk was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Augusto Cordario might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ignacy Hajduk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Augusto Cordario ran back to his position shaking his head. Erwin Huygens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogdan Kosakowski in the 62nd minute of play. Ignacy Hajduk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Cordario, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. CF Apaches's Ignacy Hajduk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Cordario in the 65th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augusto Cordario in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ignacy Hajduk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Milosz Dzierwa kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. CF Apaches made a substitution. Enno Lokko replaced Ataman Aksakal. In the 72nd match minute, CF Apaches was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milosz Dzierwa to maneuver through the defense. 74 minutes into the match, Velez Sarsfield's goal looked a bit too open when Dong Cheng Si came free, but Erwin Huygens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute Augusto Cordario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacy Hajduk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dong Cheng Si in the 81st minute of play forced Velez Sarsfield's goalkeeper Erwin Huygens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Gwidon Zbydniewski could shoot a difficult shot in the 83rd minute, which Erwin Huygens however easily saved by the left post. Velez Sarsfield made a substitution. Yiyo Bernal replaced Marcos Pacifico. In the 92nd minute, Yiyo Bernal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ignacy Hajduk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Cordario, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Velez Sarsfield's goalkeeper Erwin Huygens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gwidon Zbydniewski. CF Apaches's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
