Gu Yuan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Castel, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Creer Para Ver's Gu Yuan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Castel in the 28th minute of play. EC AliensCrazy 2023's Arnold Meijers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save EC AliensCrazy 2023 from getting a goal against them. Gu Yuan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Augusto do Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute of the match EC AliensCrazy 2023 got a corner. Creer Para Ver's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anders Röd ran over to the corner to take the kick. 34 minutes into the match, Creer Para Ver's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Castel came free, but Gu Yuan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Alvaro Castel put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Gu Yuan. Creer Para Ver's Gu Yuan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Augusto do Nascimento in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

After some careless play in the Creer Para Ver defense, Alvaro Castel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gu Yuan. The Creer Para Ver fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gu Yuan should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zé Augusto do Nascimento got free with Gu Yuan in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnold Meijers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petre Caramarin in the 85th minute of play.
