In the 23rd minute Babbis Aggeliadis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Orlandus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Babbis Aggeliadis was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Paulo Pierres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Sverker Fanström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Babbis Aggeliadis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marcial Orlandus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Babbis Aggeliadis, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Babbis Aggeliadis might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcial Orlandus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Babbis Aggeliadis ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcial Orlandus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Babbis Aggeliadis in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Jasin Jelić left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sanderlend fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Sanderlend's Sverker Fanström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Pierres in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Sanderlend's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Pierres came free, but Sverker Fanström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guanacos's Marcial Orlandus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jasin Jelić in the 40th minute of play. Marcial Orlandus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Babbis Aggeliadis in the 41st minute of play. If Danilo Sanchez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcial Orlandus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luo Jun Feng in the 47th minute.

Sanderlend made a substitution. Victorino Mano replaced Robert Augustyn. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulo Pierres to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Angelino Clemencin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sverker Fanström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcial Orlandus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Babbis Aggeliadis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Guanacos booed when Sanderlend was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Islam Šimić didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Babbis Aggeliadis in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcial Orlandus saved Guanacos from getting behind. Angelino Clemencin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sverker Fanström having to make a save. Sverker Fanström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Pierres in the 69th minute.
