In the 18thth minute of the game Oswaldo Dionísio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Tiki-Tiki de Cappa's Carmelo Orkatz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When El Tiki-Tiki de Cappa's Victorino Tiniebra in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Afyon İdman Yurdu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oswaldo Dionísio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carmelo Orkatz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Fatih Yalım in the 35th minute of play. Carmelo Orkatz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehmet Fatih Yalım, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 42 minutes into the match, El Tiki-Tiki de Cappa's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Fatih Yalım came free, but Carmelo Orkatz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd match minute, El Tiki-Tiki de Cappa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Tulio to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute Mehmet Fatih Yalım shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmelo Orkatz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 67 minutes, Mehmet Fatih Yalım made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. El Tiki-Tiki de Cappa's Carmelo Orkatz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Victorino Tiniebra might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Semavi Özguven. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victorino Tiniebra ran back to his position shaking his head. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
