An unexpectedly hard shot by Dante Casado in the 13th minute of play forced Springplank FC's goalkeeper Benjamin Meurs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andres Pello didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 14th minute. Pegaso FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! In the 19th minute of the match, Andres Pello got a very nice opportunity to score, but Benjamin Meurs was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Imran Johnsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kant Cooley in the 26th minute of play. Benjamin Meurs stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andres Pello's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute, Niels-Jan Cales ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Imran Johnsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 36 minutes into the match, Springplank FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dante Casado came free, but Benjamin Meurs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute Pegaso FC were awarded a corner. Marco Nocedo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Pegaso FC's Marco Nocedo to fire away a dangerous shot which Benjamin Meurs despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Pegaso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Oppenheimer came free, but Imran Johnsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Nocedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Meurs having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Pegaso FC made a substitution. Juan Matos replaced Marco Nocedo. After a rather tough play, Springplank FC's Niels-Jan Cales got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andres Pello in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benjamin Meurs prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Pegaso FC's Imran Johnsson got control of the ball when Kant Cooley tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andres Pello in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benjamin Meurs saved Springplank FC from getting behind. A collision led to Springplank FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Niels-Jan Cales hit a great ball. Andres Pello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Meurs having to interfere. Pegaso FC's Franklin do Nascimento was substituted for Dante Casado. Niels-Jan Cales hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. With 77 minutes on the clock, Jan Rein Diggele commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of Springplank FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pegaso FC:s goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andres Pello in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 83rd match minute, Springplank FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Riemer Mulders to maneuver through the defense. Benjamin Meurs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andres Pello, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After a rather tough play, Springplank FC's Jan Kemper got a free kick in the 84th minute. Riemer Mulders charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Riemer Mulders the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Pegaso FC booed when Springplank FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Riemer Mulders didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Robert Oppenheimer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Springplank FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Robert Oppenheimer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Imran Johnsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Springplank FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
