If Nils-Emil Blomkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Vítor Netto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils-Emil Blomkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 18th minute Nils-Emil Blomkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Vítor Netto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute ☠ Metal Militia ☠ were awarded a corner. Pier Meyer went to the cornerflag to take it. ☠ Metal Militia ☠'s Frank Thorwart was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but José Vítor Netto in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 22nd minute Pier Meyer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Vítor Netto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ☠ Metal Militia ☠'s York Segatz was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 26th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. José Vítor Netto didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 29th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. José Vítor Netto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Thorwart in the 54th minute of play. José Vítor Netto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frank Thorwart went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. José Vítor Netto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils-Emil Blomkvist in the 61st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emmanuel Heggli in the 63rd minute of play forced Botafogo MZRJ's goalkeeper José Vítor Netto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the match, ☠ Metal Militia ☠'s Pier Meyer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Vítor Netto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Silas Lara charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 68th minute, Pier Meyer sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Botafogo MZRJ's José Vítor Netto didn't even have to move. Jailson Capixaba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Glenn Danzig having to make a save. Botafogo MZRJ's Gilmar Couto was substituted for Jailson Capixaba. After 86 played minutes Botafogo MZRJ got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Novaes. Botafogo MZRJ's Gilmar Couto got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Glenn Danzig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaltino Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Botafogo MZRJ's José Vítor Netto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pier Meyer in the 95th minute of play.
