Compostela FSCMZ made a substitution. Raí Peres replaced Jaroslaw Niezgoda. In the 4th match minute, Xanda FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maicon Aguiar to maneuver through the defense. Ian Melo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raí Peres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 6 played minutes Compostela FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Tadeo Gomez. In the 11th minute, Chicão Cerezo made a precise shot to the right of Ian Melo. Xanda FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Ian Melo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chicão Cerezo in the 13th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raí Peres in the 20th minute of play forced Xanda FC's goalkeeper Ian Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ian Melo came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Compostela FSCMZ's Chicão Cerezo. But to his dismay, Chicão Cerezo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Xanda FC's Ian Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boruc Poling in the 26th minute of play. Compostela FSCMZ's Tobias Pepillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Compostela FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. In the 32nd minute Raí Peres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Compostela FSCMZ's Chicão Cerezo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ian Melo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Renan Paes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Pepillo having to interfere. Maicon Aguiar was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 39 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Xanda FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 39th minute. Penalty! Ian Melo had in the 41stth minute some difficulties stopping Boruc Poling's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raí Peres in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ian Melo saved Xanda FC from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Raí Peres's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ian Melo was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boruc Poling in the 44th minute of play forced Xanda FC's goalkeeper Ian Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute Compostela FSCMZ were awarded a corner. Mauro Paulista went to the cornerflag to take it.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Norberto da Silva stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Chicão Cerezo let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 51st minute shot 0-5 at rihgt post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raí Peres in the 54th minute of play forced Xanda FC's goalkeeper Ian Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 55th play minutes Chicão Cerezo shot 0-6, a short shot which went by Ian Melo and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 62nd minute, Chicão Cerezo made a precise shot to the right of Ian Melo. Xanda FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Xanda FC's Ian Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raí Peres in the 67th minute of play. When Jânio Baptista fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Xanda FC's protests and gave Jânio Baptista a yellow card for diving instead. Chicão Cerezo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ian Melo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Chicão Cerezos short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Ian Melo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ian Melo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boruc Poling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute of the match Compostela FSCMZ got a corner. Xanda FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mauro Paulista ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mauro Paulista made a great header on Compostela FSCMZ's corner, it was just that Xanda FC's Ian Melo managed to reach the ball for a save. Ian Melo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raí Peres in the 89th minute of the match. After 91 played minutes Raí Peres rounded Xanda FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-8. The Compostela FSCMZ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Compostela FSCMZ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
