Gabriel-Omar Santirso kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Antonio Masciarelli took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Navarro Montoya. Carlos Navarro Montoya dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 44 minutes into the match, Sabaneta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel-Omar Santirso came free, but Kevin Mier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arroyito FC's Carlos Navarro Montoya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rian Giggs in the 45th minute of play. When Venancio Etor came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Arroyito FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Venancio Etor couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gabriel-Omar Santirso made a kick off. Gabriel-Omar Santirso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Mier having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Miroslav Kvita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the match, Arroyito FC's goalkeeper Carlos Navarro Montoya had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rian Giggs. Kevin Mier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arroyito FC. In the 79th minute Gabriel-Omar Santirso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevin Mier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arroyito FC's Basarab Trif was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kevin Mier in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 87th minute Rian Giggs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Navarro Montoya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rian Giggs didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 87th minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Rian Giggs ran dejectedly back to his position. 88 minutes into the match, Arroyito FC's goalkeeper Carlos Navarro Montoya had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yoel Magarinos.
