The supporters of Ulfa FSV booed when Sabaneta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osmundo Bolde didn't get a good kick on the ball. Helder Cadanes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Andreas Renner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th match minute, Ulfa FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jakob Lenz to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute, Osmundo Bolde got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Helder Cadanes, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 10 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Andreas Renner was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rian Giggs got free with Andreas Renner in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andreas Renner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rian Giggs in the 17th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Ulfa FSV's goalkeeper Andreas Renner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Petri Romuroso. Antonio Masciarelli came free with the goalkeeper in the 47th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Andreas Renner could save by the left post. When Thomas Bernhard fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ulfa FSV's protests and gave Thomas Bernhard a yellow card for diving instead. After 47 played minutes Ulfa FSV got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Bernhard. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rian Giggs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Ulfa FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Masciarelli came free, but Andreas Renner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Ulfa FSV's corner Friedrich Hölderlin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kevin Mier quite easily take care of the ball. Andreas Renner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Helder Cadanes in the 62nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Rian Giggs put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Andreas Renner. Sabaneta FC's Fabrício Prestes was substituted for Firman Urquizu. Ulfa FSV's Andreas Renner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rian Giggs in the 82nd minute of play.
