With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guo Han Di prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 29 minutes into the game, Oldham Athletic's Anxo Cecilia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kay Kessler made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 31st minute, Anxo Cecilia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kay Kessler was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. 35 minutes into the game, Oldham Athletic's Cristian-Federico Dolić nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kay Kessler made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Timo Schlagbauer sped through Oldham Athletic's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Guo Han Di. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhao Yao Ying in the 42nd minute of play forced F.C CAN BÄCKEREI's goalkeeper Kay Kessler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute Zhao Yao Ying shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kay Kessler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kay Kessler made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Zhao Yao Ying sent off a good shot on target.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Timo Schlagbauer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Cristian-Federico Dolić put it in 5-2 from a short distance just to the right of Kay Kessler. In the 55th match minute, Oldham Athletic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sakarias Walmarsson to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Guo Han Di managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when F.C CAN BÄCKEREI's 盛世 曹操 fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 62 minutes into the game, Oldham Athletic's Zhao Yao Ying nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kay Kessler made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhao Yao Ying in the 68th minute of play forced F.C CAN BÄCKEREI's goalkeeper Kay Kessler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oliver Schütze hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Oldham Athletic made a substitution. Valter Abrahamsson replaced Anxo Cecilia. F.C CAN BÄCKEREI's Kay Kessler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sune Axelsson in the 82nd minute of play. After 92 minutes of play, Oldham Athletic's Valter Abrahamsson made it 8-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kay Kessler was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Oldham Athletic had played much better football throughout.
