Ged Nightingale made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when José Paulo Mendonça sent off a good shot on target. Belmiro Mello came free with the goalkeeper in the 8th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ged Nightingale could save by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Kauã Mandrak kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ged Nightingale. That made the score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. Ged Nightingale made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when José Paulo Mendonça sent off a good shot on target. Fabinho Bittencourt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ged Nightingale having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Arrows Academy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kauã Mandrak came free, but Ged Nightingale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Apat Reina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bryan Barron in the 27th minute of the match. Arrows Academy FC's Ged Nightingale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabinho Bittencourt in the 29th minute of play. Apat Reina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wen Jie Ting in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Retumbante FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Guy Hogg was slow to take the kick. During this time Arrows Academy FC's players had a chance to rest. José Paulo Mendonça struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Ged Nightingale didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Retumbante FC. Apat Reina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guy Hogg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 46 minutes, Kauã Mandrak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Retumbante FC and the Arrows Academy FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th minute, Kauã Mandrak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

After a defensive mix-up in Arrows Academy FC's zone, José Paulo Mendonça stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ged Nightingale came out of the goal and José Paulo Mendonça tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ged Nightingale stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of José Paulo Mendonça's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Ged Nightingale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Paulo Mendonça in the 54th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that José Paulo Mendonça's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ged Nightingale was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by Arrows Academy FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Michel de Queirós was slow to take the kick. During this time Retumbante FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Fabinho Bittencourt got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 2-0. 59 minutes into the match. Bryan Barrons short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Apat Reina to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Apat Reina made an important save on a dangerous shot by Grzegorz Piechna in the 69th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Arrows Academy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kauã Mandrak came free, but Ged Nightingale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Arrows Academy FC's Guy Hogg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Apat Reina narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Grzegorz Piechna's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Apat Reina skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 82 played minutes Arrows Academy FC got a freekick which was hit by Connor Pringle. José Paulo Mendonça struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Ged Nightingale didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Retumbante FC. For all the effort they put into the match, the Arrows Academy FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Retumbante FC.
