João Adolfo Rosa came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Eisenberg's Wolfgang Schui. But to his dismay, Wolfgang Schui quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Mirko Saßmannshausen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the match, FC Eisenberg's goalkeeper Bastian Abel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stig-Arne Ekström. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stig-Arne Ekström to make the kick off. João Adolfo Rosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wolfram Mattheis in the 58th minute of play. After 63 played minutes, Clube Atlético Impávido's Edward Kisielka shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bastian Abel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Clube Atlético Impávido reached it. Bastian Abel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Kisielka, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. FC Eisenberg's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
