With an extended leg and a bit of luck Keanu Reeves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jesus Atarratze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constancio Jaque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the game, Tabalongo AFC's Constancio Jaque nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jesus Atarratze made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 19 minutes into the match, Constancio Jaque had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jesus Atarratze. Chivos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Constancio Jaque was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When Virgilio Marko fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tabalongo AFC's protests and gave Virgilio Marko a yellow card for diving instead. If Wilfredo Cordara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 29 minutes into the match, Tabalongo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Cordara came free, but Keanu Reeves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Chivos's Wilfredo Cordara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 齐誉希 to strike the kick off in the second half. Tabalongo AFC's Keanu Reeves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Cordara in the 56th minute of play. Jesus Atarratze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constancio Jaque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute, Guillermo Baleren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciriaco Emenon kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Chivos made a substitution. Lindo Trabucco replaced Guillermo Baleren. The supporters of Tabalongo AFC booed when Chivos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciriaco Emenon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute 齐誉希 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesus Atarratze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st match minute, Chivos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godo Munk to maneuver through the defense. Chivos's Batuhan Modrić was substituted for Wilfredo Cordara. After 72 played minutes Chivos got a freekick which was hit by Godo Munk. Yerko Van Dijk took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jesus Atarratze. Chivos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 91 minutes of play, Chivos's Batuhan Modrić made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Keanu Reeves was left in no man's land by his defense there! 94 minutes into the match, Tabalongo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Aras Görkem Zümer came free, but Keanu Reeves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Marciano Asmussen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tabalongo AFC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Chivos had won, even though Tabalongo AFC had held more of the ball.
