Khai Braddell hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the match, LiverBird Flyers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Andrei Râmniceanu came free, but Alam Wah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 10 minutes LiverBird Flyers FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Laureano Terciero who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Abelardo Vimaro managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Yin Qi Xuan made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Ong Chee sent off a good shot on target. In the 16thth minute of the game Dilyan Uzunov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LiverBird Flyers FC's Alam Wah was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 18th minute, Henk Boegaerts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Göktürk Demir came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the LiverBird Flyers FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Göktürk Demir couldn't finish the play. LiverBird Flyers FC's Alam Wah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Fonso in the 21st minute of play. Alam Wah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dilyan Uzunov, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Laureano Terciero made a great header on Andino Sport Club's corner, it was just that LiverBird Flyers FC's Alam Wah managed to reach the ball for a save. Alam Wah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dilyan Uzunov in the 25th minute of play. Alam Wah dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to LiverBird Flyers FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Americo Ocaña hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edinho de Senna was the one to do the kick off. LiverBird Flyers FC's Alam Wah proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save LiverBird Flyers FC from getting a goal against them. Alam Wah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquilino Foro in the 89th minute of the match.
