Axel Coomans charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Axel Coomans the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 15th minute of the game. One of Zacisze Częstochowa:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Apocalipse FC:s goal. Durvalino de Queirós hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Zárate in the 20th minute of play forced Apocalipse FC's goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gianluigi Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristo Verdu in the 22nd minute of play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcos Rodrigues to strike the kick off in the second half.
