The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vivaldo Carioca in the 3rd minute of play forced Downchester City's goalkeeper Fumo Canuto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 4 minutes into the match, Downchester City's goal looked a bit too open when Vivaldo Carioca came free, but Fumo Canuto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 5th match minute, The Glorious FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pauli Pogba to maneuver through the defense. Jürgen Bertel made in the 10th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Karl-Johan Kjellqvist. Liberto Guasch kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Fumo Canuto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Feliks Škarpa went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Vivaldo Carioca hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. The Glorious FC were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Downchester City's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fang Hao Jing took the corner. Karl-Johan Kjellqvist was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 29th minute Feliks Škarpa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fumo Canuto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Jose Heredia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Downchester City's supporters rose to their feet, but Jose Heredia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diogo de Souza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 34th minute, Jose Heredia made a precise shot to the right of Diogo de Souza. The Glorious FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Jose Heredia kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 54th minute of the game Hélio Alves made a throw-in which Vivaldo Carioca played forward. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fang Hao Jing got free with Fumo Canuto in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Garoa Bencoiechea hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. The Glorious FC's Tomáš Velíšek was substituted for Patrick Cane. After 58 played minutes Downchester City got a freekick which was hit by Garoa Bencoiechea. In the 62nd minute Jose Heredia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diogo de Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Jose Heredia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Diogo de Souza was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. In the 65th minute of the match Downchester City got a corner. The Glorious FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Andrés Figueroa ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 66th minute, Jose Heredia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Downchester City made a substitution. Beila Marcilla replaced Jose Heredia. Jose Heredia kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, The Glorious FC's Feliks Škarpa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fumo Canuto. Fumo Canuto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Downchester City made a substitution. Etxahun Rienda replaced Andrés Figueroa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliks Škarpa in the 76th minute of play forced Downchester City's goalkeeper Fumo Canuto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diogo de Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Etxahun Rienda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the game, Etxahun Rienda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Diogo de Souza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Beila Marcilla took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diogo de Souza. Diogo de Souza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
