After some careless play in the MKS Legion Częstochowa defense, Erlin Haaland kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paco Dean. The MKS Legion Częstochowa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paco Dean should have stopped the shot. Iwan Falk hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 10th minute of the game. One of MKS Legion Częstochowa:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of STARGARD FC:s goal. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Paco Dean successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 23rd minute Nemesio Hechter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paco Dean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by STARGARD FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Krzysztof Jajecznica was slow to take the kick. During this time MKS Legion Częstochowa's players had a chance to rest. Richárd Nyilasis short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Paco Dean to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Paco Dean showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nemesio Hechter, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Anthon Billing didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Czeslaw Banan went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Krzysztof Jajecznica during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 46th minute Marian Munteanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paco Dean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47 played minutes MKS Legion Częstochowa got a freekick which was hit by Igor Zajac. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valter Festas to make the kick off. A collision led to MKS Legion Częstochowa getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Valter Festas hit a great ball. Valter Festas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Czeslaw Banan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthon Billing having to interfere. Anthon Billing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valter Festas in the 59th minute of play. After 60 played minutes MKS Legion Częstochowa got a freekick which was hit by Roch Lodowy. Roch Lodowy kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. STARGARD FC's Anthon Billing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valter Festas in the 67th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, MKS Legion Częstochowa's goal looked a bit too open when Erlin Haaland came free, but Paco Dean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Czeslaw Banan in the 72nd minute of play forced STARGARD FC's goalkeeper Anthon Billing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. STARGARD FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
