The Bornova fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Fernando Dracena might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sergio Vistruario. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernando Dracena ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Bornova's Fernando Dracena got a free kick in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Çağlar Acabey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Sergio Vistruario made a huge save. In the 53rd minute, Eustaquio Hegoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ab Trampuš came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Bornova fans jumped to their feet. Bornova's Ab Trampuš got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th minute, Bornova's Fernando Dracena dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. The supporters of Bornova booed when Gelp 22 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gualterio Gaizko didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Dracena in the 73rd minute of play forced Gelp 22's goalkeeper Sergio Vistruario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Bornova fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Bornova's Fernando Dracena looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Beyhan Oğuztüzün managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bornova's supporters rose to their feet, but Beyhan Oğuztüzün was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sergio Vistruario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Gelp 22's zone, Fernando Dracena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergio Vistruario came out of the goal and Fernando Dracena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sergio Vistruario didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 86th minute, which inside left pole to 0-10. Bornova's Fernando Dracena got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Gelp 22's zone, Arif Burak Saygur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergio Vistruario came out of the goal and Arif Burak Saygur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
