Tomás Avellaneda started the match with the kick off. Clemente Artizar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Generoso Nazario in the 4th minute of the match. Tomás Avellaneda struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Deng Liang Yao didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Albiceleste F.C.. If Ruben Teodor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Generoso Nazario's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clemente Artizar was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Albiceleste F.C.'s Clemente Artizar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruben Teodor in the 20th minute of play. Generoso Nazario took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clemente Artizar. Clemente Artizar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 26 minutes into the match, Albiceleste F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ruben Teodor came free, but Clemente Artizar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clemente Artizar came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Defensores de Fasano's Ruben Teodor. But to his dismay, Ruben Teodor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 37th minute, Reynaldo Maria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Albiceleste F.C.'s Clemente Artizar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Andrade in the 39th minute of play. Clemente Artizar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruben Teodor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Defensores de Fasano's Deng Liang Yao proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Defensores de Fasano from getting a goal against them. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Generoso Nazario to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Albiceleste F.C.'s zone, Luiz Andrade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clemente Artizar came out of the goal and Luiz Andrade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albiceleste F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Ruben Teodor scored to the left of an out of position Clemente Artizar, making the score, 0-4. When Generoso Nazario came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Defensores de Fasano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Generoso Nazario couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Albiceleste F.C. defense, Ruben Teodor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clemente Artizar. The Albiceleste F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clemente Artizar should have stopped the shot. 76 minutes into the match, Albiceleste F.C.'s Tomás Avellaneda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Deng Liang Yao narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Defensores de Fasano's Roland Deutsch in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Albiceleste F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. In the 84th minute Ruben Teodor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Artizar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruben Teodor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Edelmiro Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Clemente Artizar made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Edelmiro Machado sent off a good shot on target. 94 minutes into the match, Albiceleste F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Roland Deutsch came free, but Clemente Artizar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Defensores de Fasano's Edelmiro Machado slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Clemente Artizar. That made the score 0-7 after 96 minutes of play. The Albiceleste F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Defensores de Fasano were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
