An unexpectedly hard shot by Bishen Polla in the 16th minute of play forced MARAZZINO's goalkeeper Lütfü Öktemer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Municipales FC's goalkeeper Edgardo Joseph, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bishen Polla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Lütfü Öktemer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudiu Răducanu might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edgardo Joseph. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ball Pitt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Edgardo Joseph when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 36 minutes into the match, MARAZZINO's Claudiu Răducanu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgardo Joseph narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 37th minute, Claudiu Răducanu made a precise shot to the right of Edgardo Joseph. Municipales FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The MARAZZINO fans cheered their team off the field, for while Municipales FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
