The audience thought a goal was coming when Afonsinho Netto got free with Juan Benavides in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Juan Benavides showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luizão Loureiro in the 11th minute of the match. Juan Benavides took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luizão Loureiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute, Guillermo Escalona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 汪伟铮 was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Luizão Loureiro took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juan Benavides. Juan Benavides dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Afonsinho Netto in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Juan Benavides, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 27 minutes of play, Binsted's Luizão Loureiro made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juan Benavides was left in no man's land by his defense there! 汪伟铮 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guillermo Escalona's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. A collision led to ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Guillermo Escalona hit a great ball. If Luizão Loureiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Juan Benavides took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luizão Loureiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Martín Ulloa managed to get in a good position for a shot. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s supporters rose to their feet, but Martín Ulloa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 汪伟铮 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Humberto Escobar in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 汪伟铮 saved Binsted from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Afonsinho Netto was the one to do the kick off. Luizão Loureiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juan Benavides having to make a save. In the 53rd minute Luizão Loureiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Benavides saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Benavides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luizão Loureiro in the 54th minute of play. After 60 played minutes Binsted got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Kimeu. The supporters of ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ booed when Binsted was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Kimeu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Binsted's zone, Rigoberto Caballero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 汪伟铮 came out of the goal and Rigoberto Caballero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Philip Java kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Binsted's goal looked a bit too open when Martín Ulloa came free, but 汪伟铮 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70thth minute of the game Martín Ulloa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Binsted's 汪伟铮 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 71 played minutes ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ got a freekick which was hit by Martín Ulloa. In the 74th minute Guillermo Escalona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 汪伟铮 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goalkeeper Juan Benavides, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Iosif Anagnostou was slow to take the kick. During this time Binsted's players had a chance to rest. 汪伟铮 made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Humberto Escobar sent off a good shot on target. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
