The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Herminio Gizon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gogo Chuse, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. After 3rd play minutes Friedrich Nietzsche shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Herminio Gizon and just under the crossbar into goal. Herminio Gizon came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by AKÇEŞMESPOR's Natalio Centenales. But to his dismay, Natalio Centenales quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. ALIDIM FOR EVER's Herminio Gizon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Babür Kongurtay in the 13th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, ALIDIM FOR EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Babür Kongurtay came free, but Herminio Gizon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind ALIDIM FOR EVER's goalkeeper Herminio Gizon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cláudio Taffarel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jesus Dimas in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute of the match ALIDIM FOR EVER got a corner. AKÇEŞMESPOR's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fernando Pinto ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to ALIDIM FOR EVER's Jesus Dimas getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The audience was convinced that Friedrich Nietzsche's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Herminio Gizon was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Cláudio Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Pueblo in the 30th minute of play. After 32 minutes of play, ALIDIM FOR EVER's Jairo Selatse made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cláudio Taffarel was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Pueblo in the 35th minute of play forced AKÇEŞMESPOR's goalkeeper Cláudio Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the match, AKÇEŞMESPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Pueblo came free, but Cláudio Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute Jairo Selatse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cláudio Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Pueblo in the 46th minute of play. After the first half AKÇEŞMESPOR were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Friedrich Nietzsche in the 50th minute of play forced ALIDIM FOR EVER's goalkeeper Herminio Gizon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 51 played minutes AKÇEŞMESPOR got a freekick which was hit by Gogo Chuse. In the 53rd minute, AKÇEŞMESPOR's Friedrich Nietzsche dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. In the 57thth minute of the game Natalio Centenales who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ALIDIM FOR EVER's Herminio Gizon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Herminio Gizon was a little too slow when Natalio Centenales got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 1-4. Cláudio Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amanda Knapp in the 63rd minute of play. In the 67th minute Friedrich Nietzsche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herminio Gizon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 71 played minutes ALIDIM FOR EVER got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Selatse. Amanda Knapp kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Herminio Gizon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Babür Kongurtay, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute, Matias Gelmiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. ALIDIM FOR EVER's Fernando Pinto managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Charlie Frisk in the 81 minute of the game. Herminio Gizon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radoy Lagadov, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jairo Selatse during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to ALIDIM FOR EVER getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Jairo Selatse hit a great ball. Cláudio Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Selatse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The AKÇEŞMESPOR supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AKÇEŞMESPOR would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
