A collision led to Gato Preto FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Cipriano Tavares hit a great ball. Songurbey Tuncal might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chicão Peixoto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Songurbey Tuncal ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 41st minute Songurbey Tuncal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chicão Peixoto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Gato Preto FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chicão Peixoto should have stopped the shot. In the 94th match minute, Gato Preto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Henrique to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. JiOmaro fully deserved thier win.
